The mere sight of this chimera suspended above the landscape simultaneously reminds one of the hope water brings to an arid region and spurs reflection on the adaptive beauty that allows the land to thrive in the ephemeral absence of moisture. This is the land west of the one hundredth meridian - where the wet and humid east acquiesces to the aridity of the west. 

 

Virga Studio is so named to represent an embracing of the natural processes that landscape architecture is both beholden and responsive to.
